As per the n...Nick, Chris and Bryan, thanks a lot. <br><br>As per the near future I will continue being Sr. minister at the Church where I currently serve. If the Lord drops grad school into my lap in the future, I guess I will have to pursue it. Now, though, I'm just going to enjoy my family, friends and work as well as try to write some, perhaps on the Gospel of Mark.<br><br>The reason I got two masters in the same area is multifold:<br><br>1. I wanted to be excellent and have a good grasp on the subject<br><br>2. I wanted to work on languages and exegesis (hence the focus of the 2nd degree)<br><br>3. I wanted to be in ministry and learn about ministy (hence the 1st degree)<br><br>4. I wanted to study under Ben Witherington as much as possible and he was only teaching an hour away from where I live(hence the 2nd degree)<br><br>5. I had recieved my MDiv from a pretty liberal institution and wanted to get back into an academic evangelcial atmosphere (hence the 2nd degree)<br><br>I could probably give a bunch of reasons but those are right there at the top of the list, not to leave out the fact that I felt led. Who knows, I may never get a PhD or doctorate so, this could be it.
