Well, it has been a long time since I last posted! Yet, a whole lot has been going on, so, there's good reason for that. Anyway, I've got another study tool that I created for myself but decided to go ahead and share with everyone. Here is a very simple, easy-to-use program that I recently created to familiarize myself with some of the most significant and common word roots in Koine Greek. To be more specific, this is a list of 129 of the most frequently found word roots of terms found in the New Testament. The idea came for this came from and is rooted in a quick-and-dirty little booklet that I recently stumbled upon, which was penned by Thomas Rogers (1968). You can see a screenshot of the program in action just below. Click that image-link to download the .exe file. This has also been added to the Getting Greek site. If you get a minute, check out my Getting Theological Languages portal as well. (*NOTE: Since this is an .exe file, there is NO installation, you simply have to run the program. Know, however, that if you have Norton or AVG or any similar virus program, you may get a message that this file has a virus. It does NOT have a virus, rather this is simply your anti-virus software preventing unwanted .exe files from launching on your computer. So, to download and/or run this program of mine, you may need to disable "resident shield" in your anti-virus software, or "allow/unblock" this program in that software.)
