I'm a little late in getting this news out but that's because I just found out about it. Claude Lévi-Strauss, one of the world's most influential anthropologists, passed away this week at the ripe age of 100. In addition to his anthropological research, he was also well known among biblical scholars for his work relating mythology to religion (esp.
