Pisteuomen: New Look, New Feel

I've been trying, since I've started Pisteuomen to make the site as easy to navigate as possible. I think I've finally found the format I'm going to stick with. It took a bit of work to set the site up this way but I think it's much more user-friendly and clean-cut. I hope you like it too!

  1. A test post for my new "recent comments" feed / widget.

  2. This is a cleaner design. One suggestion. I would add some padding around your text, between it and the border. It would enhance readability. I use a feed reader so I won't really ever notice, but travelers from the web might appreciate it :)

  3. I appreciate how much faster it loads. My only problem is with the "recent comments" tab - when i go there i see only code, not comments. Maybe it's still under construction?

  4. Eric,

I may add the padding, thanks for the tip.

    Wsk,

I'm still working out the kinks for the "recent comments" tab. What do you mean by you only see "code"? What does the code look like? What does it say?

  5. wsk,

I think I've fixed the problem with the recent comments page. Please, let me know if it is working for you now. thanks.

  6. michael, you asked what the code looks like - the comments function won't let me post the entire thing, but i've put the first line below w/o the initial bracket. I should add that my computer at work is pretty primitive, but I don't have this problem with your other tabs

  7. wsk,

For some reason, I am just not seeing what you're seeing. I wonder if anyone else is having this problem? So, I'm guessing that my "fix" of the problem did not work for you? Are you using an old version of Internet Explorer or Firefox or something, that could be part of the issue, I'm not sure because like I said, I'm just not seeing what you're seeing.

  8. It's a clean design, but I don't notice the name of your blog any where obvious. It's a bit disconcerting.
