This morning I recieved a package from Fortress Press that contained a book which I am incredibly excited about. The book is:
Performing the Gospel: Orality, Memory, and Mark. The work is a collection of essays from select scholars and as the title suggests, plumbs the depths of Mark's text and ancient social location. In addition to this book, I also recieved a notice saying that
Mark and Method (ed. 2) will be shipped to me upon its publishing in mid-January. Thanks for this too, ahead of time. I will review the books in due course; I am very excited to engage them.
How the Sheol are you getting all of these free books?
